The AFK scholarship committee met this week to adjudicate 22 applications submitted for this year's four $1000.00 Artist for Kids scholarships. These Scholarships are awarded in the name of the Trust’s first four artists patrons:
- Ms. Lyndsey Bourne, Seycove
Jack Shadbolt: Multiple Arts Excellence Award
- Mr. Craig Stevenson, Windsor
Robert Bateman: Future Teacher Award
- Ms. Veidre-Lanor Moore, Carson
Bill Reid: First Nations Artist Award
- Vanessa Buck, Handsworth
Gordan Smith: Visual Artist Award
